There are over 70 full songs (including covers, different versions of
originals with different bands, and more) available for download on the
lyrics/mp3 page. That's 300MB of ME. For
real, though.

Scott Andrew LePera & I raised almost $1200 for the
Mr. Holland's
Opus Foundation by staying up for 24 hours straight as part of the
2003 Blogathon. We cowrote and recorded two original songs,
"Southdown" and
"Nothing
New," and blogged all about it on the
Pet Rock Star^s blog. Both songs are licensed under a
Creative
Commons deed. (We also won the 2003 Best Music Project, which is
really just icing on the cake considering how fun this whole experience was.)

Joi Ito asked me to write a song for Ben & Mena Trott (of
Moveable Type fame) for their birthdays in
September. I gladly accepted, and the result is
"You Own Dot Org," a somehow silly
and somewhat
serious song about their lives, taken mostly from their weblog archives.
